Always wanted to cruise the South Pacific? Here’s your chance: South Pacific specialist Paul Gauguin Cruises has launched a two-week sale on select voyages in the region.

Paul Gauguin says eight summer departures of its seven-night Tahiti & the Society Islands itinerary are being marked down by $800 to $2,500 per person from previously advertised prices, depending on sail date and cabin category.

The voyages take place on the 332-passenger Paul Gauguin.

The marked-down departures include four sailings in June (departing on June 2, 9, 16 and 23) that originally started at $4,597 per person and are now priced from $3,797 per person. The four other sailings, on July 21, July 28, Aug. 4 and Aug. 11, originally started at $4,697 per person are now priced from $3,897.

The offer includes free airfare from Los Angeles to Tahiti to reach the ship. The lower fares will be available through March 10.

Built in 1997, the Paul Gauguin recently underwent a $7 million overhaul that brought new interior and exterior areas
