Cunard Line marks down fall cruises in Europe…

Cunard Line today is kicking off a five-day sale on more than half a dozen fall Mediterranean voyages.


The UK-based company has marked down the 10- and 12-night sailings — all on the 2,092-passenger Queen Elizabeth — by up to 60% off brochure prices and is throwing in on-board credits of up to $300 per cabin.


The Mediterranean Spotlight Sale, as it’s being called, includes:

— Two 12-day “Holy Land Explorer” sailings departing on Sept. 6 and Nov. 17, starting at $899 per person for an inside cabin.


— Two 12-day “Greek Isles & Aegean Treasures” sailings departing on Sept. 18 and Oct. 12, starting at $999 per person for an inside cabin.


— A 12-day “Pearls of the Black Sea” sailings departing on Sept. 30, starting at $1,499 per person for an ocean-view cabin.


Also on sale is a 12-day “Greek Isles & Ancient Wonders” cruise on Oct. 24 (balcony cabins starting at $1,299); a 12-day “Greek Isles & Turkish Splendours” departure on Nov. 5 (balcony cabins from $1,299); and a 10-day “Mediterranean Moments” sailing on Nov. 29 (inside cabins starting at $699).


All cruise prices are based on double occupancy.
