Chicago Bids Adieu to a Culinary Icon…

Posted on 05 January 2012

It is a sad day for foodies in Chicago. We hear from USA Today that Charlie Trotter’s, one of the Windy City’s most notable restaurants, will be closing up shop after 25 years in business.

The restaurant will close in August. Trotter told the Chicago Sun-Times that he plans to travel and go back to college to study philosophy and political theory. After graduating, he will open another restaurant.
