Posted on 01 September 2011

Ritz-Carlton is widening its footprint in the Far East. We hear the luxury brand has signed agreements to open two new properties in China: The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan and The Ritz-Carlton, Dalian.

The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan will be located at the top of the Wuhan Greenland Center, while The Ritz-Carlton, Dalian will occupy floors 64-81 of the Dalian Greenland Center.

Scheduled to open in 2017, the 330-room The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan will offer a health club, pool and spa. Dining options will include a 170-seat three-meal restaurant and a 150-seat Chinese restaurant (with 12 private dining rooms). A lobby lounge and bar will also be available. Top touch: The 119th floor of the hotel (yes, 119th floor) will offer food and beverage options in a glass dome where diners can enjoy their meals with sweeping views.

The 300-room Ritz-Carlton, Dalian will be part of a mixed-use development.
