A cascading waterfall will be added along one side of the lobby and kids will have one more thing to scream about when a new ice cream shop joins the hotel’s retail space.

Renovations to the guestrooms themselves will meld together a fusion of Art Deco and SouthBeach styles, with cool calm greens fading into modern black and white motifs.  The bathrooms are being rebuilt and redesigned to make them more open, and as an extension of the guest rooms, they will each be equipped with their own flat screen TV’s.

In the lobby, a 1,007-gallon, 20-foot long L-shaped aquarium is scheduled for construction.  Following this theme, the retail boutique is called the “Splash,” and will feature upscale clothing, toiletry, and cosmetic items.
