Food & Wine Magazine and The St. Regis Aspen Resort Present Culinary Excellence…

FOOD & WINE Magazine and the St. Regis Aspen Resort are teaming up to create Chefs Club, a new restaurant concept debuting alongside the 30th annual FOOD & WINE Classic in June. Some of FOOD & WINE’s signature “Best New Chefs,” including George Mendes (2011), James Lewis (2011), Alex Seidel (2010), and Sue Zemanick (2008) will contribute bi-annually to a rotating menu of seasonally-inspired American Regional cuisine. To make it even better, FOOD & WINE editors will create custom wine and cocktail lists to compliment the seasonally rotating menu. Executive Wine Editor Ray Isle will pair wines with the Best New Chef dishes and Jim Meehan, one of the nation’s top mixologists, as well as FOOD & WINE Contributing Editor and Deputy Editor of FOOD & WINE Cocktails, will craft an original selection of libations.

 

The opening of Chef’s Club will mark the completion of a $40 million redesign of the St. Regis Aspen Resort by award-winning designer Lauren Rotett. The newly designed resort is expected to set new standards in five-star luxury, service, and culinary excellence in Aspen. Even the art in Chefs Club will be seasonally curated by local artists.

 

The next group of Best New Chefs will be revealed later this year and will include recipients of the most recent Best New Chef Class of 2012. The Fall/Winter menu will launch in November 2012. Chefs will make appearances throughout the year to further showcase culinary concept to guests, locals, and residents alike.

Chef’s Club by FOOD & WINE at the St. Regis Aspen Resort will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
