Business travelers’ odds of getting reimbursed for hotel parking beat their odds of getting reimbursed for Internet access, a newly released poll of corporate business travel managers says.

And an astonishing 30% of business travel managers said their company won’t reimburse travelers for airport shuttles.

Those are among the surprising finds found in the poll released today by the Global Business Travel Association and Egencia, Expedia’s corporate travel arm.

According to the “2011 Corporate Travel Policy Benchmarking and Insight” study, corporate travel managers said they’re most likely to reimburse travelers for the following hotel fees:

  • Parking (89%)
  • Internet access (84%)
  • Airport shuttle (70%)
  • Late check-out (24%)
  • Early check-in (23%)
  • Fitness center (21%)
  • Mini-bar (9%)
  • Entertainment (4%)

For the first time, the annual study asked travel managers about ancillary fees. Surprisingly, just 21% of travel managers this year are tracking these fees, the study found.

Of the travel managers that track the hotel and airline fees, the fees account for about 8% of total travel spend. So for a company that spends $40 million on business travel, fees account for about $3.2 million.

In case you’re curious, here are the top airline fees that the respondents said they’ll reimburse their travelers for:

  • Baggage fees (91%)
  • Itinerary changes (73%)
  • In-flight meals (47%)
  • In-flight Wi-Fi (35%)
  • Preferred seating (13%)
  • Priority boarding (8%)
  • In-flight entertainment (3%)
